In 2016 I was diagnosed with Thoracic Outlet Syndrome and told that physical therapy would be the only thing that would help me. When it came back again in 2018 I had to resign from my job and did what the doctors suggested so I could get better and return to work. As of September 2019 I have been unable to work and referred to even more specialists.
In December 2019 I was also diagnosed with Myofascial Pain Syndrome and referred to a surgeon in Boston! (For those of you that have been following my gofundme page In an earlier post I said I was misdiagnosed. I misspoke, I have both).
I suffer from nerve pain, muscle pain and have a rib on my left side that feels as if someone is stabbing me. I’m unable to use my left arm without pain and have had to adjust my life at home. This injury has negatively affected my social and personal relationships for almost 4 years.
The Botox injections I received last year in addition with weekly physical therapy has helped decrease my symptoms and better mobility. Surgery is the next step after reviewing everything with my Doctor. My surgery is at Mass General Hospital in Boston. If you are able to give please help me pay for medical expenses, rehabilitation and travel. Insurance only covers so much, your help would mean the world to me and my family.
I live in GA but my surgery consultation/surgery is at Mass General Hospital in Boston. This is what you will be helping with:
–Medical bills for surgery consultation, testing, injections and follow up
(Appointment was on 10/1/2020 & 10/2/2020. Follow up was 1/4/2021)
–Medical bills for surgery to decompress my peck minor muscle and brachial plexus
(Dr. Is waiting for the hospital to provide available dates since Covid cases are rising)
- Medical bills for follow up
- Medical bills for Physical Therapy
-Flight/Hotel
