Our family is going through an incredibly difficult and uncertain time, and we are reaching out for help on behalf of my sister.

She is currently in the ICU and has been fighting serious medical complications. While there has been progress—she was recently able to have the breathing tubes removed and is now on a CPAP for oxygen—she is still critically ill and requires ongoing hospital care. Doctors have confirmed that she experienced TACO (related to transfusion-associated circulatory overload), and while her condition is improving, there is no clear timeline for when she will be able to leave the ICU or the hospital.

Right now, our focus is on her recovery. Unfortunately, the financial impact is already significant and continuing to grow. Medical bills are accumulating quickly, and once she is discharged, we don’t yet know how long it will be before she can return to work. On top of that, her car was totaled during this time, leaving her without transportation when she will already be facing recovery and follow-up care.

We are raising funds to help cover:

• Ongoing and future medical bills

• Living expenses while she is unable to work

• Transportation needs after discharge

• Other unexpected costs related to her recovery
