I am requesting help on the behalf of Kaitlynn and myself. On Saturday Morning, 09/06/2025 Kaitlynn was the passenger in her boyfriend’s vehicle and they were T-Boned on Hillcrest and Nevious (not sure if spelt that correct) in Mobile. Kaitlynn’s side of the vehicle was the point of impact.

Her left wrist is fractured in multiple places along with that she had a head laceration that required 10 staples. She also has a significant concussion that has really affected her short term memory so there is a lot of repeating things to her (it’s like 50 first dates) and unfortunately we do not have a time line when the short term memory loss will resolve itself.

Due to the accident we are both out of work. Kaitlynn is out due to her injuries and I am out so I can take care of her so money is very tight. I started a new job so FMLA is not an option and I am out of PTO. My husband does work but due to me being out of work right now a one income family is very hard to due especially with added new expenses.

The money that you donate will go to copays, medical supplies, medicines, gas for appointments and anything else Kaitlynn may need at this time. It’s unfortunate you can’t put things like this on credit and pay it back once you go back to work.

If you can help us we would appreciate it more than you would know and it will help with the stress of how are we going to pay for the things that she needs. If you can't we understand but we ask for prayers and for you to share this request as well.

This will not be a quick recovery by no means but I will take a slow recovery over what could have been the other outcome they differently had protection over them.
