Medical and Living Expenses for Matt Charlier

My name is Henry (pictured on the right), and I am fundraising for my younger brother Matt (pictured on the left). He has suffered from several medical conditions for most of his life. Still, recently he has encountered several new medical issues that have negatively impacted his ability to work. As a result, he has not been able to receive his regular pay for several months. Coupled with increasing medical bills, he finds it challenging to keep up with his expenses. I am fundraising to help my brother cover his medical and living costs. His income is essential to his family.

Synopsis of recent medical issues:

1. In April 2021, he was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis, dramatically impacting his mobility and quality of life.

2. In February 2022, he suffered a heart attack. He now has stints in his heart to address obstructive coronary heart disease. Unfortunately, he is still experiencing significant chest pain, and when further investigated, his doctors diagnosed Matt with endothelial dysfunction, a form of nonobstructive coronary heart disease.

3. In March 2022, he showed signs of kidney failure. Diagnostic imaging revealed that his left kidney has an unidentified mass and poor circulation. In the weeks to come, he will have more done to determine the nature of that mass. His kidney disfunction is a developing situation, and I will update this post when more is known.

Of course, Matt's medical situation is enough to cause him great anxiety. The anxiety induced by not being able to work regularly has been almost too much for Matt to handle.

It is my sincere hope that this GoFundMe fundraising effort can help ease the anxiety that Matt is facing due to not working so that he can focus on dealing with getting the treatment he needs. Therefore, I humbly ask that you consider contributing to Matt's cause. I also ask for your prayers. Matt is in for a tough time and will need all of the support he can get.
