Dear Friends of the Heath Wootton family,

 

A very dear and close friend of mine, Jen Wootton received the devastating news that her husband of 17 years, Heath was diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung Cancer on January 18th. After numerous tests, the doctors have discovered cancer in both his lungs, cancer on his ribs, and fluid is building up around his heart and in his lungs. Before they start chemo treatments, they must put in a drain to ensure that the fluid doesn't build up again. This beautiful couple has two teenage daughters, Paylea and Raye that are working part-time while going to school. It is heart-wrenching for the entire family to understand what the unknown outcome will be for Heath. Finances are limited as Heath has depleted his leave time and Jen is trying to balance work, hospital, and being there for her girls. This family is so beautiful and so strong but they need our love and compassion. Any assistance that you can provide would be so greatly welcomed. Your prayers and thoughts for Heath, Jen, and their two teenage daughters are appreciated.  I'll update when more information is available.
