My name is Steve Rawlins and I am asking for your assistance to help pay for living and medical expenses because I dont have health insurance.  On September 3rd I wasnt feeling well and called in sick from work due to back pain.  While working from home I noticed my legs feel like they were falling asleep.  I assumed it was because of my back and from sitting at my desk chair to long while doing work from home.  Having laid down for about 40 minutes I began to feel a little better and attempted to make my way to the living room to watch a little TV and rest in my recliner.  When I tried to stand, my legs collapsed from under me and realized I lost the use of my legs.  By the time I got to the ER I found myself paralyzed from the waist down.  I am currently admitted to the hospital undergoing testing to determine the cause of why I would suddenly become paralyzed from the waist down.  The doctors have no explanation yet and dont understand why a healthy person like myself could succumb to such a drastic change. Because I do not have medical insurance I am asking for your help to not only assist me with the medical expenses but to also help me cover living expenses until I can get things settled and in order.  Never having been in a position like this, I've had time to think about my current living conditions and what I'll need to live when released from the hospital.  Things like, a wheelchair, rehabilitation expenses, moving to a more handicapped friendly home or apartment for me and my dog and so much more.   I thank you in advance for your thoughtful considerations, your shares on social media and appreciate any and all support that you can spare.    Respectfully,  Steven J.
