We are asking for help with medical bills and living expenses for the family during their long road to recovery.
Friday, April 1st Cody and Sarah’s vehicle was struck from behind on highway 99. They were on their way to magic mountain to celebrate a birthday with their three children Trace, McKenzie and Rylee, who were in the back seat. The driver of a Dodge Ram sideswiped two cars before hitting their Toyota Corolla at freeway speeds.
Rylee, age 10 (birthday girl) has undergone brain surgery to relieve the swelling in her brain. She also has a broken arm that will require surgery when she is able. She has been unconscious since the accident and is still currently in the ICU.
McKenzie, age 12 has a dislocated hip, broken nose, bleeding on her kidney and multiple face lacerations.
Trace, age 10 has 5 fractures to his jaw and had his teeth knocked out, has bruised lungs and a bleed on his spleen.
Cody was knocked unconscious, has a severe concussion and staples for a head laceration. Sarah has 5 broken ribs, a punctured lung bleed on her spleen and staples in her head for a laceration.
Cody and Sarah will be out of work while they heal from their injuries and care for their children’s injuries. They will need to stay near the hospital in Fresno until Rylee is able to be moved closer to home or come home. Medical bills, meals, traveling to and from the hospital, etc. will all add up.
