Aloha friends and family,

My name is Ash. I’ve made this fundraiser with the purpose of collecting funds for my dad and I in a time of dire need. He has just been diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. I am hoping to collect enough to be able to fly him from Florida to Vancouver for outpatient care as soon as possible, as well as be able to provide a safe and clean living situation for us as he receives treatment. We are both still grieving the loss of my mom which occurred last year. This has been an extremely difficult year for us both. I am his sole caretaker at this time and thus need to take time off work until I am able to get us organized and settled. This cushion would allow me to care for him in all the ways he deserves until he no longer requires my full-time attention and I am able to resume work and care for us both. Anything is appreciated during this time and we are very thankful for everybody taking the time to read our story.
