Medical & household expenses after urgent surgery

Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted supporters,

My name is Theola and as a single mother with no additional support, I am seeking help during a challenging time in my life. Recently, I underwent emergency surgery due to the doctor's negligence during the insertion procedure, which resulted in my IUD being displaced, causing it to perforate through my uterus into my abdomen. Despite having insurance, the $13,000 procedure was not covered because the IUD had to be surgically removed. My insurance provider refused to modify the CPT code associated with the procedure, resulting in the denial of coverage for my surgery

My emergency surgery couldn’t have come at a better time being that, I have found myself unexpectedly laid off from my job due to circumstances beyond my control. This sudden turn of events has left me in a state of uncertainty and financial strain. I'm faced with mounting medical bills, prescription costs, on top of rent, and everyday household expenses that I haven't been fully prepared for because my unemployment benefits do not cover all the needs of my family.
