The Battle

Hi. My name is Gretchen. I am 56 years old and mother of 3 who have given me 3 beautiful grandchildren. Life really can change overnight. Even as I write this i'm still in disbelief. After decades of working out regularly, teaching exercise classes, eating well and taking my vitamins, I received the devastating news a few days ago that I have breast cancer and am facing a double mastectomy in four weeks. I am self employed doing the work that I love of creating beautiful and healthy hair for others, including Cancer patients. I am a positive person by nature and I am a Fighter. I am fighting to be here for my children, my grandchildren and my 88 year old mommy. I am fighting for my life. It goes against my grain to bare my soul so publicly but right now I need your help.
