Medical and Healing Fund for the White Family

Donazione protetta

On December 18, 2019, my beloved brother Wade was killed in a car accident while driving his wife, Sophiah, and daughters back home after a late night visit with family. He was a loving husband, father of five, brother, uncle, and friend.

Sophiah and her girls are still waiting for details on the accident and the fate of the driver who caused the accident. She continues to struggle with the loss of her husband, the critical state of her children, not being able to see them and the medical expenses that are preventing her children from receiving immediate medical care needed to remediate their injuries in a timely manner.

My family and I are asking for assistance, no matter how small, to help with the medical bills, therapy, and any upcoming expenses to help fill this void for my brother's family. Wade was a father of 5, 2 boys and 3 girls. Although he is no longer with us his memories will continue to live on through his kids and family.

Thank you all for your love and support during this hard time.

Please see below for further detail:

• Wade White

• Sophiah Spence-White (injuries to head and broken bones)

• Sackina White, 14 years old (broken bones)

• Nalahni White, 12 years old (broken thighs, broken neck, head wound/head trauma, facial lacerations, kidney and liver lacerations, fractured pelvic, facial injuries from car an debris)

• Hailey White, female child 4 years old (bladder injuries, broken bones, fractured pelvic)

My brother, Wade White was driving his family back to St. Ann after visiting family in Trelawny. At about 11:30pm, Sophiah recalls driving along the main highway when a vehicle coming from the opposite direction overtook a few vehicles and headed towards them, there was not enough room for the driver to complete the pass and collided with their car.

The crash totaled their white Honda Civic, killed her husband Wade White on impact and left her and the 3 children in critical condition. Sophiah and the children were taken to the St. Ann Bay hospital, where Hailey was later transferred to the Bustamante Children’s Hospital and Nalahni to Kingston Public Hospital because of the severity of their injuries.

Sophia is currently in the St. Ann Bay Hospital recovering from her injuries which includes trauma to the head, a broken arm, and partially impaired sight. She hopes to be released soon.

Sackina White has been released from the St. Ann Bay hospital with a broken arm.

Nalahni White is currently in the Kingston Public Hospital, she has undergone one surgery for the damage to her face and awaiting surgery to repair her pelvic and broken neck. The surgery has been postponed pending the purchase of medical pins/screws to perform the procedure. The recovery period for Nalahni is to be determined as she is not able to walk.

Hailey White is currently in the Bustamante Hospital, she has undergone two surgery to remove debris from her head and repair her pelvic and broken bones. The recovery period for Hailey will be long and it is recommended that she uses a walker to regain mobility.
