Zach was a lifelong member of the Fulton community who attended G. Ray Bodley High School.  He persevered in the face of many obstacles as a young person with Autism and those of us who knew Zach could not help but smile whenever we thought of him.  That it why the news that he passed away unexpectedly at the age of 21 was particularly heartbreaking.  Zach was hospitalized in Oswego on Monday, 5/24 with pneumonia and then was airlifted to Syracuse due to cardiac issues and kidney failure on Thursday, 5/27.  Tragically, Zach died on Friday.  Zach leaves behind his mother, grandmother, and two siblings, including a twin sister.  The family is dealing with the immediate shock and grief of their loss as well as the inevitable cost of uncovered medical and funeral expenses.

 Zach will be remembered by all of us who interacted with him, especially his gentle spirit, big heart, and sweet smile.  He will be missed. Thanks to all in advance for helping Zach's family in this time of need.
