Medical and Funeral Expenses For Lisa Lindsay
Donation protected
Hi I’m Sadie Lindsay, I’m 16 years old, and family is a big part of my life.
Thank you for looking at this GoFundMe for the best mom in the world, Lisa Lindsay. She went to heaven on November 23, 2024 at 6:12am. My mom loved anyone and everyone, didn’t matter what they looked like, how they spoke, how rude they were, she wanted them to feel loved and cared for. Please don’t feel obligated to give any money, but i’m asking for it for medical expenses right now, since our income will be halved. We have to pay out of pocket for the autopsy, since we were rejected one. We will also be having medical bills, funeral payments, ambulance fees, and more. Now it’s just me, my dad, and sister in the house with two dogs and a fishie. Any amount helps. Thank you!
A little background to what happened…
Around 5:00am on 11/23/24 my dad heard a thud in the kitchen so he went out there to see my mom on the ground. She was exclaiming that she couldn’t breathe and to call 911, so he did. When the ambulance arrived they tried getting her to stand up but she kept saying she couldn’t breathe. My dad asked why they weren’t giving her oxygen and they just kept trying to get her into a chair to take her into the ambulance. My dad told the medics he’d be at the hospital soon as possible and all they told him was “take your time. it’ll probably take a while anyways.” The ambulance left and my dad came upstairs to wake up my sister and I, which at the time I thought was my mom telling me to get ready for work, to tell us what’s going on and then he packed to go to the hospital. Him and my sister left to go to the hospital around 5:45am and I went to work. On the way to the hospital they called my dad to tell him my mom’s heart stopped beating. My sister called me to tell me what the doctor said and asked, “are you on your way here, this may the last time you get to see her.”After saying that, I left work to go see my mom because I didn’t know it was that intense. On the way to the hospital all i could remember is my dad’s crying screams because of this news. When my dad and sister got to the hospital, the medics were trying cpr, but after about 50 minutes stopped because it wasn’t working. I arrived at the hospital to see my mother’s body just lying there, it didn’t seem real to me, like i was in a nightmare and just wanted to wake up. I didn’t want the last time I see my mom to be when she’s all purple in the face and not smiling like she normally is. I sat down and a nurse walked in and she said something about having to move “the body” so they could get the board from under her. I whispered to myself, “it’s not just a body it’s my mommy.” That’s when i realized her spirit was gone from inside her body and was looking down on us now.
