Clara Gil Leon the mother of Sporting 02 teammate Javier Leon fought a courageous battle for 4 years against Pancreatic cancer.  We are saddened by her passing last week and want to help her family with medical and funeral expenses.  

She leaves behind two teenage sons, Javi and Danny who are the loves of her life, and her husband Francisco Leon.  

She will be remembered for her warm smile, kind heart and passion to live  for her boys.  She was on the soccer sidelines raising funds each year for the cancer fight Santa Clara Sporting is so passionate about.

The Santa Clara Sporting Community wants to help one of our own teammates during this difficult time.
