Donation protected
With a heavy heart, I ask for help with medical and funeral expenses for my cousin, Aric Casas. A beloved husband, son, brother, and friend, our family is in shock after his death on January 1, 2021 at just 31 years old.
Aric loved God, his family, and working as a barber. The latter of which he was unable to do for most of a year due first to COVID-19 and then because of health problems.
He was briefly put on disability following several hospital stays where doctors knew something was wrong but could not find the physical problem to solve. Due to overwhelmed hospitals, there will not be an autopsy, but we do know his death is not associated with COVID-19 in any way.
Without that closure, and because we are unable to safely come together and embrace as a family at this time, my only wish is that we can lessen the financial burden on his wife and mother. We are looking to help with his previous hospital stays, the final ambulance ride, and funeral expenses. This is an estimate of what they might need, but we are unsure of the final costs. If there is money left over it will be donated to a charity that would have been meaningful to him, which we will provide info on in an update once things settle down.
