Medical and funeral expenses for Andrew Owens.

Hi, my name is Blake Enloe and i’m currently a senior in high school. Recently, a longtime family friend and neighbor of ours lost their 14 year old son to a self inflicted injury. I don’t think any parent should ever have to live through and experience the loss of their child, especially if there was a possibility that it could have been prevented. Andrew Owens was just a freshman who had one of the most caring smiles and loving personalities. It’s just heartbreaking to know that he was dealing with something so extreme that he wasn’t able to talk about it and it lead to the loss of his own life. Andy, short for Andrew, has a little sister named Molly, who is luckily not old enough to fully understand what happened as she is only 5 years old. Her birthday is coming up very shortly and we wish for it to be a normal as possible and her family to not worry about the expenses between gifts and medical bills. Any and all funds recieved will go directly to the parents of Andrew’s, Richard and Laurie Owens.

Their family just asks to simply reach out to friend or loved one in times of despair, to not take on many burdens alone. They ask for any parent reading this to check on your child, and just let them know you love them because tomorrow and your time with them is not guaranteed.
