Medical and funeral expense support

Over the past year our brother CJ (Chris Jones) and his wife Kiki have been financially supporting CJ's dad through his illness paying for his expensive medical treatments. Unfortunately, this week CJ received the shocking news that his dad passed away just when he thought he was getting better. I spent the afternoon with CJ yesterday. Never seen him so sad even though he was trying his best to function.

 

CJ has shared with me a lot of stories of his upbringing. His dad, Christopher Idahosa, seen in the picture above with CJ, is a true man of God who loved his family and served God in the most sacrificial way. It is comforting to know that the Lord called him home and he is now in a better place with the God that he served faithfully but his departure leaves the newly wed with unpaid medical bills and funeral expenses. CJ is also planning to go attend the funeral.

 

I have set up this fundraiser so we, close friends and family of CJ and Kiki, can come together so the medical and funeral expenses do not become an additional burden to this young couple. I myself have been there when my dad passed away and the last thing you want when you are mourning is financial stress.
