Dear friends and family,

This is really heavy. I'm reaching out to you with a heavy heart to share some difficult news. Last Wednesday, my Dad Karl Clapp, was hurt in a fire at my parent’s home. While he is receiving medical care on the burn unit at the U of I, the road to recovery will be long. As well as the road to rebuilding their lives and gathering memories.

During this trying time, I'm asking for your thoughts, prayers, and love to surround my family. Your support means the world to us, and we're grateful for every gesture of kindness and encouragement. So many have already shown such kindness.

Please keep my parents in your thoughts as they navigate through this challenging journey. Your prayers, positive energy and well wishes are deeply appreciated.
