Medical and financial help for Kaylee .

Every parent fears their child getting sick. Kaylee, a 3 year girl wasn’t feeling well. In May she started complaining of a stiff neck, arm pain and random headaches. Her parents took her to the doctor and was diagnosed with strep throat. With treatment she got better. Soon after she started having terrible stomach pain and was diagnosed with a UTI and constipation at the emergency room. After a round of antibiotics and a couple of bowel movements she was feeling better. It wasn’t but a few days later that the headaches were back this time accompanied with a loss of appetite and sleeping off and on throughout the day. Kaylee wasn’t being the happy girl as she was normally. Her parents knew something just wasn’t right and took her to Texas Children’s Hospital on Father’s Day 06/16/19. They were right. After what seemed to be forever waiting for blood work to come back their fears were being confirmed. The doctors suspected Kaylee had cancer. Next came the many test, ct scans, mri’s, biopsies and more blood work. With each test anxiety growing. Finally, some answers. Kaylee has a mass pushing against her spine. That was just the start, she has multiple masses throughout her body, near organs and in her head. Completely devastating. With no time to waste chemo was started immediately. Kaylee’s family needs help. Both parents will need time away from work to tend to her needs. Without the normal income regular household bills will get behind. They will need as much support as they can get from family, friends and community. Not only financial support but moral support.
