On May 30th Clay Castleberry collapsed while sitting at the starting line of his ATV race, one of several races that day. This young man just turned 21 and by all accounts in perfect health. He was taken to the local hospital near Daisy GA and then airlifted to a larger hospital in Savannah where he remains.
Currently, the medical staff cannot determine what caused the V-fib but are not showing any unknown heart condition or heart disease. He has been on a ventilator since the 30th and is still fighting swelling of his brain.
The family is by his side and prying that a miracle comes to Clay, and they ask that you also ask for a miracle to be performed. In the meantime, I know that the family will soon be looking at an ambulance ride, medical airlift, and two hospital bills. This is just what is known as of today. They need to dedicate their time to Clay, and his brother Owen and sister Brooklyn, and not worry about these types of items.
I assure everyone, that as a member of this family, every penny that is received from this fund will go to Randy and Cristy, Clays father and bonus mother.
