Medical and expenses for Robert Malmquist

Hello, my name is Betty and I am the wife to Robert. On 7.9.21 he suffered a accident while cutting grass which resulted in the loss of part of his left foot. He had one surgery done late last night to try and save what they can and not let more skin and muscles die.

While he is employed full time, due to covid the wait for any kind of short term or long term disability that he pays for per check exceeds their normal wait times. As well as the funds are drained from so many covid claims . At this point the time he will be out of work is undetermined as more surgery may be needed in the future. He will also have to relearn to walk in time. They advised us to be prepared for several months if not longer but I know he's determined and God will allow for a fast recovery and return him to playing with his kids which is his main concern.

He is out of pto time as we just had a baby 10 weeks ago so we will be without any form of income to support our family and 3 children even with the proper coverage that's tapped from so many claims coming in all over.

I started this go fund me in hopes to atleast be able to provide good meals for our children and not to endup to far behind before his coverage hopefully kicks in. Even with his disability coverage it's only 60% which will be extremely helpful but 40% loss on income is going to be a huge hit.
