Medical and Expenses for Davis Family

8/30/23-UPDATE: Eric was home for four hours and developed a fever and started feeling bad. Chanel took him to ER last night and he is being treated for sepsis. Please continue praying for his recovery and for their family. Just a hiccup in his amazing progress he has made so far.

8/29/23-UPDATE: Eric is home! He has lots of appointments starting tomorrow. Please continue to pray!!

8/28/23-UPDATE: Eric will be coming home tomorrow! He is being released from the in patient rehab he has been staying at. He is making great progress. He is walking on his own and is able to perform routine daily tasks. There will be another surgery coming up soon and we ask for continued prayers as the next phase of recovery continues. If you haven’t yet please consider donating to their fund to help the Davis family with the surplus of medical expenses they are facing. As always please continue praying for Eric and for a full recovery and for Chanel to continue with her amazing strength as she works full time, cares for their two girls, and maintains a home on her own.

8/21/23-UPDATE: Eric was moved to an in patient rehab this past Saturday. He is undergoing physical therapy and gaining his strength and mobility to be ready for when he goes home. Their long road of recovery will continue as he will be preparing for another surgery in the upcoming months. Many thanks and blessings to all who have helped contribute to my sister’s family. Please continue praying for Eric, Chanel, and their children as they continue with the healing process and new routines they are adapting to.

UPDATE: As of today Eric has been stepped down to stable condition and has moved to the trauma floor. He is making positive milestones and even was able to stand with assistance for a short period of time today when working with his therapy team. God has touched him and Chanel in so many ways! I strongly believe he is proof of God’s healing touch. They still have such a long road in his recovery! We appreciate everyone who has donated and hope everyone will keep sharing the go fund me post to help with insurance out of pocket costs they will be responsible for. ❤️

Hello, my name is Valerie and I am Chanel’s oldest sister. My brother in law, Chanel’s husband, Eric was in a serious motorcycle accident on August 11th. He was flown by Care Flight to the hospital and underwent brain surgery for skull fractures and a brain bleed. He is in the hospital and in ICU. I am starting a go fund me to help Chanel and her family with medical expenses as well as other expenses they will be facing as he continues his recovery. Eric has been the sole provider for their family until recently as Chanel has just started a teaching job. She will be juggling work, their two young kids and spending as much time as possible in the hospital with Eric assisting with his care. They will be facing a long road of recovery including rehabilitation and numerous medical procedures. Any money raised will go directly to their family to help cover the many expenses they are facing. Any donations as well as prayers for a full recovery will be greatly appreciated to help ease their financial burden during this very difficult time and help them stay focused on his healing.
