For those who know Rob, life wasn't always fair or easy for him by any means. No matter what the challenge was that life threw at him, Rob always found the strength to overcome and move forward. However this time his chance to fight has been taken away from him.
In September 2018, Rob was hospitalized for 4 brutal months. Hopeful they had gotten all of the cancer, in January 2019 they sent Rob home. Right away he showed vast improvements and we thought we were on the road to recovery. However, after feeling ill for quite some time around Mid-April, we rushed him to the UW Emergency Room for what we thought were definitely sever UTI symptoms. Imagine all of our shock and devastation when we were sent home being told to enjoy our last couple of months with him, the cancer had spread through Robs body. Treatments are very limited and most cannot be administered due to his current physical conditions, they would put him in more pain than good and would likely bring his life to an end sooner.
My brother is the type of person that gives when he has nothing to give. If he was needed to help, he always found a way to help. Please find it in your hearts to help our family during this time of need. We are doing our best to keep Rob as comfortable and peaceful as we can, all while trying to keep ourselves from breaking down as well. Any and all donations, no matter how big or small, make a huge difference and will be deeply appreciated. All donations will go towards his current medical expenses and his after life expense.
