Medical-Psychosocial Help to Beirut Blast Victims
The tragic explosion in Beirut has impacted many families that lost everything. The aftermath has left thousands of people suffering from medical and psychological traumas. A non-profit NGO by the name of "Restart Center for Rehabilitation of Victims of Violence and Torture" has been directly helping people impacted by the explosion in Lebanon. We are assisting the leadership of this NGO to raise funds and assist the Beirut blast victims with medical and psycho-social needs. This non-profit is a trustworthy organization whose mission is to help people, especially during hardships like these.
Annie Wehbe-Nolan and Anthony Wehbe (both in NJ) will be collecting the funds via GoFundMe and sending 100% of the proceeds to Lebanon. We know the team at the non-profit through our cousin Mary Abdel Ahad, a senior phychotherapist and supervisor at the organization. All funds collected will be used to help the Beirut blast victims for their medical and mental health care.
We can't thank you enough for your support and generosity! Every contribution helps.
We've included some photos sent by family members in Lebanon of the tragedy that’s occurred.
