Medical & Funeral Expenses for Uncle York

Our beloved York Max Shields passed away, very unexpectedly, on May 22, 2019. York was one of the most kind, loving, honest and hilarious men in the world. He was a loving brother, father, husband, uncle and grandfather, and the world feels a lot less wonderful without him in it. A couple of years ago, he had a very serious medical episode, and it was a large strain financially. As all of us know, funerals are and can be so very expensive and, York worked harder than any 65 year old we know, but this is a large blow to the family. We are coming to our community of friends, neighbors and people we consider family to ask for help. His sweet wife, Sandi, will be left to carry the burdens of these bills, and we want to do everything we possibly can to help take some of this burden off of her shoulders. Losing the love of your life, brother and father is already such a painful and traumatic event, but the leftover bills from such an event can just feel completely overwhelming. If you can find it in your heart to donate any amount, no matter how big or small, it would make a world of difference. We have listed the goal amount of $10,000 just to start, as we are unsure what the total amount of all of this will actually be, but we feel that this amount will take a large weight off of the family's shoulders at this time of need.
