Medical alert service dog with lung cancer

Hi,

My name is Kylie and I’m Izzy’s handler, mama and best friend. Izzy is a medical alert service dog who has saved my life more times than I can count.

She is a rockstar employee at KIPP University Prep high school where she not only keeps me safe but also provides joy to many students and staff.

At home she is the best doggo and absolutely adores her dad, sisters, and cat siblings.

Earlier this week Izzy was diagnosed with lung cancer.

We will be meeting with an oncologist next Friday to determine our best next steps.

We are focused on her quality of life and making sure she has the happiest most comfortable days for however many days she has.

Whatever money isn’t used for Izzy’s medical will be donated at the end to the service dog company that trained her.
