My name is Sarah Franzblau and pictured above is my best friend Merry. Merry is an amazing person who works as a Social Worker in a public high school in Massachusettes. She works with some of the most at-risk students in the school through a specialized program and is outstanding in her role. Merry is one of the kindest and most thoughtful people I know.
Merry has an extremely rare auto-immune disorder called Polyarteritis Nodosa, which has caused many other health concerns including a Vasovagal condition. This condition causes Merry to faint regulalry.
I'm raising money to help get Merry a medical alert dog for her fainting disorder. Her husky (pictured above) named Keyleth has been determined to be a perfect candidate for an alert dog, however Merry can't afford the cost of training her. Medical alert dogs are not covered by insurance so she has to pay out of pocket for the extremely specialized training program.
Having a medical alert dog will make it much safer for Merry and increase her quality of life. Right now, she never knows when a fainting spell will occur and this can be extremely dangerous if she is out in the community, at work, or driving. A medical alert dog will give her more freedom to be independent as well as lower the risk of fainting from a standing position and possibly injuring herself.

All money raised will go directly to Merry to pay for the training. Thank you for helping my friend!
