We are the Martin Savage Celtic Supporters Club based in the Ashtown area of Dublin. Our club carried a sponsored walk on March 23rd in order to raise funds for the charity Medical Aid for Palestinians. This is a registered charity based in the UK (Charity Reg. No. 1045315). As many of you will know, the population in Gaza are in dire need of emergency supplies. The distressing images coming out of Gaza leave us in no doubt the people there a facing an imminent,man made,humanitarian disaster.

Our walk following the Royal Canal towpath from Ashtown Station to Maynooth, covered a distance of approximately 12 miles. Our initial target was €500. Thanks to the generosity of so many individuals, Celtic Supporters Clubs and companies, we have smashed that initial target and are approaching the €5,000 mark! We are keeping this Gofundme page open for approximately another 2 weeks to try and get to our new target of €5,500. The help this will give to so many in Gaza at this terrible time will be immeasurable.
