Brie is a 36 year old kidney transplant patient who unexpectedly fell ill in the Spring 2019. She has been hospitalized multiple times and made dozens of ER visits presenting with severe upper abdominal pain, nausea and vomiting. As a result of the extensive and unexpected medical visits, she has lost her employment. The local medical community is unable to further help her and was decided she would benefit from seeking treatment in another state that specializes in rare gastroenterology diseases/disorders. Her primary care provider was able to write a referral and we are able to get her into the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. This fundraiser is to help with travel expenses (airfare to MN and lodging) and any other expenses acquired during the visit to Mayo.
This trip and treatment is desperately needed so it does not affect her organ transplant, which could happen at any time. The need for funding is extremely urgent. Please help if you can.
She has been through a lot and still manages to keep a positive attitude and smile on her beautiful face.
Update: A special account will be set up at Embark Credit Union in Great Falls as an alternative method of donation or you can write checks payable to Brie Adam's 509 12th street South Great Falls Montana 59405. Thank you. We really appreciate the support (financial and emotional) right now.
