Hi there,
Maxxito here. As some of you know I work professionally as a musician. I’ve got my own band, W I R E S , I play with scarypoolparty, I often play for friends, and pretty everyone who hits me up to do so.
This year I’m setting a somewhat ambitious goal for myself. By the end of this year, I want to be working solely on creative projects.
Im kicking off that goal by finishing up W I R E S next album and getting started on another one of my own, which is going to feature some great collaborators! Im also gearing up to start my own youtube channel and podcast series! Both of which will feature fun, interesting, and insightful conversations, behind the scenes content, and many other things to look forward to.
Along with that goal I set for myself for this year, I really want to live the rest of my life as fearlessly as possible so I’m using this year to really tackle that goal head on.
The reality is however, a lot of these goals involve money! So in addition to my own efforts, I wanted to humbly reach out to all of you. In hopes that if anything I’ve ever done has resonated with you, and you think other people would enjoy it too, or even if you just wanna see what I can really do, you might consider making a donation to help me fund these projects.
I’m setting an initial goal of about $6000 for myself. This will help me get necessary equipment, secure needed teammates, and allow me to produce better quality content. At first, that may seem like a large number, but theres a few ways to look at it that may put it into perspective:
Like 1000 people donating $6, thats less than a cup of coffee!
Or the 300-400 people who regularly watch my Instagram stories donating $20
So if you enjoy my memes, my antics, my humor, the way I think, or would just like to support a hard-working independent creative, I would be eternally grateful for your support.
