Medb's Dragon Warriors Club for Cancer Survivors

We are Sligo's 1st Dragon Boat Club for Cancer Survivors & Supporters. We paddle our 40ft, 20seater Dragon Boat "Anna" out of Waterglades onto Aughamore Bay and beyond. Our goal is to live well with, & beyond cancer, supporting each other through the team sport of Dragon Boating & have a good many laughs on the way. Our members have either directly, or indirectly, been affected by cancer. It is difficult to find your way after cancer treatment, we are here to pick you up and bring you through the next phase of healing through new friendships, learning a new sport and slowly regaining fitness & confidence together. We are all inclusive, open to >18yrs. No experience or fitness level required. As we are a not-for-profit club, every € goes back into the club to support our members, provide equipment, insurance, rent, training to ensure every individual is safe on the water.
