Med/Basic Expenses Bahai Torture Refugee Victim

This is the true and verified story of a young man (Ariou) who is fighting for his life in Turkey. He was beaten close to death  in his country of birth for being a member of The Baha'i Faith; he did not die; but he lost his kidney function; he left the country and is now a UNCHR registered  refugee in Turkey waiting for resettlement.  Thanks to the generosity of a few souls , enough money was raised for him to have a kidney transplant in  Turkey and cover his basic expenses for 8 months in Turkey. The original circle of donors have maxed out in terms of their support and  he is not able to get free drugs and has difficulties working due to his condition post kidney transplant so we are trying to raise 6000 dollars for a year to cover his drugs and very basic related expenses while he is awaiting resettlement to a third country .   All funds will be accounted to donors . There are many refugees in need in Turkey but this is quite a unique situation that warrants support as  a Victim of torture who needs medical help.  Anything you give from 25 USD and above is welcomed ,anonymous or public

On behalf of Sahba Sobhani and Dr. Mojdeh Saberin  a team consisting of an international public servant and a medical doctor that have come together on a volunteer basis to support this cause.

Who is organizing the fundraiser? Sahba Sobhani,  an American Bahai from  the US living and working in Istanbul Turkey for the UN who is organizing this fundraiser on a voluntary basis with Dr. Mojdeh Saberin

My relationship with Ariou:  I know Ariou through activities in the Bahai community in Turkey  and have been involved in previous fundraisers for him.  Ariou has had two previous fundraisings done see for example the fundraising that was successfully completed for his kidney transplant

How will the funds be used:  Ariou had a kidney transplant in the fall of 2018 so the funds  estimated around 500 dollars a month will be used to cover kidney transplant immunosuppressive drugs, doctors visits, tests and related hospital expenses.

How are the funds planned to be used for these medical costs?  The funds will be transferred into a bank account in Turkey  which will pay the medical  bills   and all medical  bills will be documented and donors can ask for the report of the expenses after 12 months
