Med Costs for saving baby Agam and mom

When I got pregnant at 43 with Agam I was VERY excited.
I have tried a number of times to get pregnant after my last pregnancy at 37, but the most success I had were 2 unfortunate miscarriages and as I grew older, I lost hope.
When I found out I was pregnant with Agam the OB/Gyn wasn’t very
hopeful: I had signs of miscarriage until an advanced week.
But then, when there was still heartbeat at 12 weeks, we realized that
the pregnancy is going to continue! At week 22 the doctors diagnosed
I have Placenta Previa Percreta, and that I need to prepare myself to a
hysterectomy. At 23 week it was decided that the Placenta got
attached to my bladder. Later on that week the doctors suspected that my left pelvic floor and probably my intestines got attached too.
The MFM Specialist said he has yet to see such an aggressive and
massive placenta. He suggested I should stop the pregnancy because
I might not survive the pregnancy. At 24 weeks I realized I cannot stop
the pregnancy in right conscious. I was offered to get hospital care
overseas that will allow me to remain pregnant with Agam until 34+6
week and then do a C-section + hysterectomy . I decided that this
was my best option. My age was no longer an obstacle; the case wasn’t regarded as rare or unheard of. It was a complicated case but one that
can be handled. I left my two boys and husband behind and flew there.
Now I have a beautiful healthy 21 months old baby. I am also OK,
but still struggling with some health issues. But slowly and surely I am getting there. However I owe $75000 for hospital care, surgery and NICU which were not covered by my insurance.
