Med Assistance Fund for Daniel Arreguin

Ms. Leticia has worked as a custodian on our campus for over four years now, and  I've never seen anyone work harder than this lady.   She is always happy to help, regardless of what is asked of her.  Her son, Daniel, is a 2010 graduate of Lee High School who suffered a heart attack during a soccer practice as a senior and came back to graduate with excellent grades after spending three months in the hospital.  That was 10 years ago, and he now has a nine year-old daughter.  Leticia has Daniel, another 14 year-old son, and Daniel's daughter to care for.  Daniel lost his job during the Covid pandemic and now has been hospitalized due to a chronic stomach condition that could result in a permanent disability.  With no other caregiver in the family, Leticia has had to go on an extended FMLA to care for him.  Leticia is facing catastrophic financial difficulties as she copes with caring for a newly disabled son and two other children with no other support.  I have never seen a more generous faculty than our Wisdom family, and I hope you'll kindly consider helping out one of our own now if you can.  Thank you.
