Mechanical Engineering Trip

Hello, My name is Babe Bradley. I am a 17 years old female that has been selected as an Illinois state delegate for the National Academy of Future Scientists and Technologists Conference for Congress in Boston, Massachusetts. I am in some financial need to raise funds to go on this trip with my mother. The reason I would like to gain  the funding to be able to go, is because I plan to major in Mechanical Engineering, but as a young female I have been told that just because I am a female I cannot be one. So, I have worked for the past three years in a program called S.T.E.M ( Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathmatics) to further explore my future career. I had joined Seaperch to do just that. It helped me gain confidence, further expand my knowledge in this acedemic area, and most of all spark my love for dedicating my lifes work to become a Mechanical Engineer Major.
