En esta ocasión me dirijo a ustedes porque reconozco que he pospuesto mi cirugía de afirmación de género por mucho tiempo. Sin embargo, el estado actual del mundo me hizo entender que era ahora o nunca :)

Demás está decir que, aunque me cuesta pedir ayuda y/o apoyo, mi plan médico no cubre el procedimiento. El mismo tiene un costo aproximado de $10,300.00, sin contar los gastos de recuperación y/o emergencias. Es por esto que recurro a ustedes para poder alcanzar mi meta y finalemente poder realizarme mi tan anhelado "top surgery". Cada aportación, por más pequeña que parezca, significaria el mundo para mi. ¡Les amo!

On this occasion I am writing to you because I recognize that I have postponed my gender affirmation surgery for a long time. However, the current state of the world made me understand that it was now or never :)

Needless to say, although it is difficult for me to ask for help and/or support, my medical plan does not cover the procedure.
