Mecca's Homegoing

Dear Family and Friends,

 

With an extremely heavy heart, we tell you all that our beloved Mecca Sade Sofidiya has gotten her angel wings. Although Mecca was only with us for a few months, many loved her, and her entrance to the world proved that she was a fighter. She was born prematurely on December 19th, 2021, weighing only 2 lbs., 9 ounces. Although she spent most of her young life in the NICU, she fought and came home. Unfortunately, she suddenly stopped breathing in her sleep at exactly 3 months old, leaving her parents heartbroken and our family devastated. Mecca's parents would like to give her a proper home going, so that all of her loved one's can officially say goodbye to her. Due to the unexpected nature and timing of Mecca's death, we have started a fundraiser to collect donations for her funeral service.
