Meara Deery's Recovery & Honoring Kyle Robinson

Hi everyone, we are the Bulitka Family. We would like to share a story about our niece Meara Deery, and her fiancé Kyle Robinson.
On August 6th, 2022, Kyle Robinson proposed to our niece Meara Deery. Everyone was on top of the world. Kyle the biggest teddy bear on the planet, got down on one knee and asked our high energy, wears her heart on her sleeve niece, to marry him. She said yes! Our brother Philip Deery, our sister-in-law Annette Deery and our nephew Liam Deery, were all in on the surprise. Both Kyle’s family and Meara’s family were thrilled.
Fast forward one week, Saturday, August 13th, 2022, my brother Philip Deery answered a call, that no parent wants to receive. Meara and Kyle were involved in an ATV accident, just east of Parry Sound. Kyle Robinson, sadly, did not survive the crash and our niece Meara was airlifted to St Michael’s Hospital in Toronto, in serious condition. Upon arrival, Meara was treated for head, neck, and leg trauma. She has undergone surgery for broken bones and has more procedures in her future.
We would like to reach out to our friends and family to help relieve some of the financial burdens ahead. Meara and her family live in Brockville, Ontario but will have added travel costs with hotel stays in Toronto. Meara will have months of physical and mental rehabilitation. We would also like to donate funds to Kyle‘s funeral expenses.
- Meara has a long road ahead of her. Her bones will heal, and her mind will mend, but her heart is broken forever.
