I’m going to cut to the chase and directly ask for your assistance regarding a new indie horror film that I’m working on called, ‘Mean Spirited’. The story focuses on the charm of vintage Halloween while providing social commentary on past issues that are still relevant today. Aside from glorifying the Halloween season and commenting on social issues, this short film will show that mean spirited people exist in all ages, genders, and races while exploiting the cruel crocodile membrane in which all humans are capable of utilizing. For some, the title, ‘Mean Spirited’ may have a familiar ring to its title, and rightfully so, as this particular story was published in the Nationwide Amazon Bestselling book, ‘The Night the Jack o’ Lantern Went Out’ published by Pro Se Press.
Now, that you have a background of this upcoming project, without giving away spoilers, here is where you come in. As we all know, the mainstream cinema is seasoned with remakes, sequels, and clichés, and being an Independent artist can somewhat be a struggle when finances are involved, because Indie artists aren’t funded by major corporations. So that our team can provide you with a solid, original horror movie, we will need some funding. However, we plan to give you a bang for your buck.
