Delivering Nutritious Meals to the Frontline - NYC

In response to the COVID-19 crisis, Dish Food & Events Catering is launching a program to provide individually wrapped, made-from-scratch meals to frontline medical professionals, first responders and others in need all over New York City. It’s our mission to support frontline staff with nutritious meals while also supporting our own employees who have been impacted by this crisis.
What will your contributions will be used for?
1) Purchase food product and supplies needed to prepare the meals
2) Pay Dish employees wages to prepare and hand deliver the meals to the frontlines
3) Support Dish and our team during a time when we have been forced to pause operations while getting meals into the hands of frontline heroes who need our support right now.
Why are we doing this?
It's our goal is to help nourish and and boost morale for our city's tireless heros on the frontline, many of whom are working long hours in tough, stressful conditions. Hospitals across NYC are in short supply of food and beverage products because on-premise cafeterias and cafes are closed or local stores and restaurants are closed.
That’s where Dish comes in!
We are connecting with hospitals and other organizations in NYC to arrange for daily meal deliveries to frontline staff. We will begin to produce and deliver these meals during the week of April 6th, 2020 and continue as long as there is a need and we have fundraising support.
A $15 donation will cover approximately one meal for a NYC frontline individual. This includes the cost of food, supplies, wages and delivery.
$50 = 3 to 4 meals
$100 = 6 to 7 meals
$500 = 33 to 35 meals
$1,000 = 66 to 70 meals
$5,000 = 350+ meals
$10,000 = 700+ meals

Dish Food & Events LLC is a for profit business. Please note that goods and services are provided in exchange for your contribution. As such, this transaction is of an ordinary nature and is not deemed a tax deductible donation.
Dish is adhering to and following all food safety and sanitation protocols as set by the NY State Health Department and CDC.
