Hello, My step mother Trish as you my know has always struggled with her health, and a couple days before thanksgiving she was admitted to the hospital for sepsis. Due to unforseen circumstances, she was placed on a breathing tube and proclaimed brain dead December 6th. My dad is heart broken, the family is all devastated. I live out of town and I will be there for a little bit, but my biggest fear is my dad not eating. My step mother was the cook of the house. I am trying to collect donations to pay for a meal service for at least a month, a couple months if we can, to make sure my dad has easy meals for when hes ready to eat.
