Local Meals for New York City Hospitals
Donation protected
Show your appreciation to medical workers on the front lines AND help keep local restaurants stay in business! We are sending grab & go food from local restaurants to local hospitals to show our love and appreciation for NYC's healthcare workers.
NYC doctors, nurses, and hospital workers are facing the COVID-19 pandemic head on. They are working long shifts and have no time for dinner breaks or food shopping. They need sustenance, care, and moral support -- that's where we come in!
Brooklyn Resisters is a community of activists in Kensington, Brooklyn. We are collecting donations to cater grab & go dinners from local restaurants for workers in local hospitals.
We started by sending pizza and wraps to Staten Island University Hospital and Mount Sinai ER, and we expect to send several dinners a week to a few different hospitals who need the help.
$20 will go a long way to sustaining our neighbors and friends who are at risk for all our sakes every day and night. Thank you for staying home, showing your appreciation, and contributing what you can!
(Please note: Saul Austerlitz is noted as beneficiary because he is making the large food orders for the hospitals.)
