Erica had no symptoms and was surprised by a diagnosis of invasive lobular carcinoma breast cancer in October. She wants to remind everyone to schedule their mammograms, as her doctor recommends annual screenings which meant her cancer was found sooner.

Erica had surgery #1 on Wednesday 11/12/25 and surgery #2 will be scheduled within the following few weeks, followed be radiation. She has been surrounded by help from family and friends, and is all set for surgery week #1 (Erica and Max are truly grateful for her aunt staying with them during surgery recovery, DoorDash dinners, school rides, visits with family and friends, and all of the acts of kindness).
