Meal Buddy for Damarys Garcia

Hello everyone, I am Damarys' oldest sister and my family and I are raising funds to be able to cover the expenses for Damary's Meal Buddy. This device will help her in her journey of becoming more independent. There is very little that Damarys is able to perform on her own due to her cerebral palsy. The Meal Buddy will allow Damarys to eat on her own and further develop this essential skill. This device has already been tested by her and her therapists during her therapy visits and she is really excited to get it! The retail price is $3,535, but it was recommended that we ask for a little more in order to cover possible breakages or misplaced items. Any amount helps!

However, through the exposure of our post we were introduced a newer and more accessible feeding device (OBI) that is significantly more expensive than the Meal Buddy. Any funds past our original goal will be greatly appreciated to help cover the difference, however not expected at all.
