Story International Internship

Thank you for taking the time to learn about what I will be doing this summer.
I am going to Huehuetenango, Guatemala for three months this summer to work at Story International as a Development and External Relations Intern. I will be responsible for helping develop social media, blogs, and writing grant and outreach letters to supporters and other organizations.
Story International's mission is to benefit, support, and restore families in Guatemala through the love of Christ, schooling, and other programs. They are currently in a season of change, and I am excited to partner with them in prayer and anticipation for what God is leading them into.
I am raising $2700 and am hoping to be fully funded by March 31. That seems like a hefty goal, but I have learned so much about the faithfulness of God this year and of his church.
The $2700 will cover travel expenses and flights to and from Guatemala, a monthly food stipend, rent and utility costs at the intern apartment. Any extra money will go toward Story International.
I am excited to see what God is going to teach me this summer and I am also excited to share it with my supporters. If you are not already receiving my email updates, please leave your email address below to receive updates of how the Lord is working in and through Story International.
I am hoping to learn more about God's heart behind support raising and to be challenged in a cross cultural setting. I am asking for prayer from my friends and family that I will be open to whatever the Father is wanting to teach me in this new season.
Thank you for reading this and for loving me well. I appreciate you more than you know.
