Meagan’s Kicking Cancers Butt Fund

Donation protected

Meagan met my brother during their Freshman year of college at a Special Olympics fundraiser. They have been together ever since. They have two beautiful boys, and are currently navigating their new life as a “fire family”. Ben got hired with Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District in September 2019. He graduated the Fire Academy on November 22, 2019. Just, twenty one days after Parker was born. They also just purchased a beautiful home together in Rocklin. So, Ben could be closer to work. They starting moving in and getting settled into their new house.

On, April 21st Meagan was having severe headaches and went to the ER. They found a tumor in her brain. Surgery was performed on April 23rd to remove the tumor. The surgery was successful and the doctors removed all that they could see. We all waited anxiously for the results of the biopsy. On May 1st she got the terrible news that she has, Grade 4 Glioblastoma. It is an aggressive form of brain cancer. Even though the tumor was removed, she still isn’t out of the woods.  She will need to do several different forms of treatment. Chemotherapy, radiation, among other things. Megs has a fight ahead of her.

We want her to be able to get the best care possible. That being said it won’t be cheap. Consider donating what you can, or even just sharing this so that others that are able can help.

I am also facilitating other ways for people help. Let me know, how I can help you, help Meagan.
You can also refer to this page for updates on how she is doing throughout this journey.
