We at the Meadow Mountain Cafe are elated to finally be opening our doors again, AT LONG LAST! We are eternally grateful to all our customers for their continuing support over the years, especially this last, extremely difficult year!
When covid swept through our country we followed the restrictions on restaurants to the best of our ability, allowing take out orders only. After struggling to remain open, within a couple months we experienced mass equipment failure, which forced us to close our doors completely. We find work elsewhere just to struggle to pay the bills, plus scrimp and save to replace the broken equipment.
After 6 long months of remaining closed we were finally able to replace the essential equipment so we could open our doors in a limited fashion! We are only about to send 25% of our occupancy and have had to limit our menu due to the cost of food and essentials.
We need to be able to place full food orders, replace and upgrade our entire propane tank and system just so we can have the tank filled. We need to replace our hot water system to avoid the pipes from continually freezing. On top of that we need to be able to maintain the essential bills (which are continually mounting) and have our equipment serviced so we can avoid them failing.
We are extremely grateful to each and every one of you that has shown your support, even with the limitations in place. We are now, reluctantly, reaching out to all our dear friends, near and far, asking for help so we can continue to keep our doors open. Thank you and God bless!
