Meade-Durrette Family Fundraiser

Team Napier ERA,

As most of you are aware our accounting director, Sheri Meade-Durrette, has been waging a courageous battle with cancer and as such, been on medical leave since December of last year. 

Sheri was a key member of our management team for over ten years, and more than that, a smiling face to everyone who met her. It was not uncommon for Sheri to be in her office after hours working on closings in order to get us all paid in a timely manner. That was her dedication to her Napier ERA Family.

Sheri, her husband Greg, and the entire Meade-Durrette family have endured a lot over this past year. Your thoughts, prayers, delivered meals, and more, have made a difficult situation a little bit better. We thank you for that, but we need   to do more.  Sheri has undergone radiation and chemo therapies, and just recently had surgery to help stabilize her spine. Soon she will begin immunotherapy trials at UVA.  The medical bills, even with insurance, are astronomical, not to mention the added expense of travel and lodging. 

So, how can you help? 

Napier ERA has started a GoFundMe campaign in Sheri’s name. Our goal is to raise $15,000 for Sheri and her family. We have made an initial contribution to start the campaign and now we need each of you to dig deep and give what you can. The funds that we raise will do much to help Sheri’s family, but the love and generosity of spirit it will demonstrate will sustain Sheri and family forever.
