'Virtual Hot Dog Sale' Video
Note: The Beneficiary listed; Todd Conklin, is the Treasurer of the Mattawan Education Association.
For many years, the Mattawan Education Association has hosted a Homecoming Hot Dog Sale. The proceeds from the hot dog sale, along with donations from Mattawan teachers and community members, are used to award scholarships to deserving Mattawan students at the end of each year. We traditionally are able to provide each building a $300 scholarship to send students to summer camps in addition to awarding 5-6 seniors with $500 Scholarships.
On account of it being 2020, we were unable to host our Hot Dog Sale this year due to COVID precautions. Therefore, the fund has not been replenished and the donations that teachers make will not be enough to provide many Spring 2021 scholarships.
Our students have been dealt so much disappointment over the past year. We would love to be able to be able to provide a positive point for some of them this spring!
With the help of our High School Digital Media class, the idea of a Virtual Hot Dog Sale has been created. Please consider making a donation to support the Mattawan Education Association Scholarship Fund, for Mattawan students. The Virtual Hot Dog Sale will run March 1st - April 11th.
UPDATE: If you would rather donate in person OR via mail please drop off your donation in the collection box in any of the MCS building offices or mail it to: Mattawan Education Association, Attn: Todd Conklin, 56720 Murray Street, Mattawan, MI 49071. Please make any checks out to the: MATTAWAN EDUCATION ASSOCIATION.
Thank you!
