Alex Memorial Fund
Hi, my name is Brody and I am raising funds for my Brother Alex’s beautiful wife and 1 year old daughter Madison. Alex was tragically taken from this world after battling COVID at the young age of 32. For all who were blessed to personally know Alex, you understand what a remarkable man, father, husband, son, brother, and friend he was to all he encountered. Alex lit up any room he walked in, unconditionally loved his family and friends, and was selfless in all of his actions. The world and our family lost a remarkable man, but we will never forget and always remember the love you brought into our lives.
Words are tough to come by right now, but I believe the tribute below is as close as I can come to showcasing what Alex meant to his family.
It’s hard to describe or put into words what truly magnificent people do for this world. They impact all they come across and many they don’t-
Alex- you were one of those amazing men. As a son- who loved his mom and dad with all his heart- you brought joy, laughter, unconditional support, pride, and a deep seeded love. Your kindness and warmth radiated with every hug.
To your sister you served as a best friend, a rock to lean on, a shoulder to cry on, a confidant to share each other’s deepest desires and dreams. A bond like theirs is rarely seen, but always cherished- and never breakable. You supported each other through all the good and unfortunately too much sadness.
To your beautiful wife Meredith, you were happiness. Always bringing out the best of each other as you took on all of life’s ups and downs. You were unconditional love and companionship while plotting out your family’s journey. You were warmth and affection that fueled a love that was unbreakable, one which will stand the test of time.
To your daughter Madison- you were the Daddy who loved with every fiber of your being. The father who never let a second go by without thinking of his precious princess. The Dad who cherished every waking second looking into her beautiful eyes. A dad who will continue to shower her, for all eternity, with love and support. A dad who even though you can’t be seen, will always be felt, standing right beside his baby girl as she takes on the world.
To your friends- Alex was life. The individual that walked into the room and made everyone else feel better. You were selfless, putting your needs behind everyone else’s. You would make people laugh and be there for others when they needed to cry. You would be the first to rush to your friends side in their time of need, but never expect anything other than friendship in return. You were life, engergy, and charisma.
To me- Alex, you were a role model. The best brother I could ask for, and far more than I deserved. It’s rare that younger siblings are those you look up too- but Alex, you had an energy, passion, charisma, character, and deep seeded love that I truly looked up too.
Just seeing your face made me smile, hearing your voice warmed my heart, and being in your company made me love.
I miss you brother- I love you so much Alex. You were a beacon of hope, love, and passion like this world has never seen. I will spend the rest of my life working each day to keeping your memory alive- I will never let your Mad Dog be alone and ensure that she- and everyone else knows what an incredible Son, Father, Brother, Husband, and Friend you were during every second of your life.
